Vibecoding is a new form of coding given birth by the rise of AI models generally the LLMs (Large Language Models) which include Chat GPT, Gemini, Deepseek, Claude Code among many others. Vibecoding gets its name from the nature of how it’s done. It happens in chat form where the developers describe the features to the language model which comes out as sending ‘vibes’ or vibing therefore the name vibecoding.
Vibecoding saves the developers time by writing the entire code leaving the developer with the task of refinement and enhancement.
